The offered Cast Iron Non Return Valve is used in fuel injection systems; the injectors are simply check valves which are designed to work with a high opening pressure and would be found in aircraft fuel systems as well as on spacecraft where the launch vehicle would use include them in the propulsion propellant control. These values allow fluid, whether in the form of liquid or gas, to flow in only one direction. The non-return valve is really just another safety device. Although the Cast Iron Non Return Valve should not be relied upon for primary shut-off, it does restrict the flow of steam back from the header into the boiler.
